APTTI courses are assessed through a combination of written assignments, practical tasks, and a final project — all submitted online. There are no timed written examinations.
01
Assignments
Each module includes written assignments testing your understanding of core concepts. Submitted via the e-learning portal and assessed by your personal tutor.
02
Activity Planning
You will plan teaching activities and lesson outlines appropriate for your course level. These are reviewed by your tutor with detailed written feedback.
03
Observation Tasks
You are required to complete structured observation tasks, which can be done at a nursery, preschool, school, or with children in your community.
04
Portfolio Development
During the course, you build a teaching portfolio of your lesson plans, reflections, and activity records. This portfolio supports your placement efforts.
05
Final Project / Essay
The final component of the course is a project or essay on a topic related to your course area. Your tutor provides guidance throughout.
06
Tutor Assessment
All assessments are evaluated by your personal tutor, not by automated AI or software. You receive written feedback on each submission.
07
Certificate Dispatch
Once all assignments are submitted and assessed as satisfactory, your certificate is prepared and notarised from Canada within 30–90 days.
